Sky News host Rita Panahi says clothing brand North Face has been embarrassed after its “corporate virtue signalling” was exposed by Texas oil and gas company, Innovex.
North Face received widespread praise after it announced it will not fulfill orders from Innovex, with the clothing company claiming it views oil and gas in the same way as the tobacco or porn industries.
Ms Panahi said Innovex did not take the criticism lying down, publishing an advertisement thanking North Face’s reliance on oil and gas when it produces its products.
