no great loss - Sports Illustrated just like all the major media "news" outlets in radio, tv, cable and print all we full steam ahead "Woke" years ago. Consequently I stopped patronizing / watching reading MSM, News Papers, Print Magazines (like Sports Illustrated) decades ago.
Long ago I ceased being shocked at the latest outrageous things these news and information companies do. I fully expect that some day Sports Illustrated will put a NAMBLA cover on their stupid magazine - can almost see it now - Man, looking all healthy and cool and "normal" standing with is arm over the shoulder of a young boy who is looking up and into the mans eyes with affection...
Either way - I just do not buy nor do I even pick up and idly browse through Sports Illustrated magazines.

I feel like Men In Black and just read the tabloids.
Me too on the stopped watching/patronizing all of it. I think starter was basketball, they had camera on behind the bench during a technical foul shoot, and the player made it and one guy on the bench says 'alright! he made our point spread.' My education into Las Vegas betting. Football the same, too many flags manipulations & freaky half time super bowls. I did better tending the bar at The American Legion during those events. Also been boycotting Pepsi since the Michael Jackson Victory tour days, so.....
Baseball I quit watching when ever they had the strike and no world series. I'd watch hockey but I am from Minnesota, and would rather play and check someone out of their skates than sit and watch. So I am into horses and outdoor activities instead. Cancelled cable TV decades ago as well.
My newest hobby is trolling HAHAHAHAAAAAA
