Exactly. The ideological/religious regime is not about human rights whatever that means of individual and acceptance, its about oppression of everyone else. As well as political power. No better than Nazi or Communists in their methods and ambitions. And any individual, gay, women, black etc, are all going to be equally prosecuted because they are not aligned with the ideology. This is definitely not about humanity or individuals.

The more power they get the less tolerant and more extreme they become in both rhetoric and actions . And watching historic regimes of this type on China, Germany, Russia etc. Its not hard to see the parallels not matter what the regime calls itself.

Someone called this liberalism 2.0 a post human future where genetic engineering, drugs, linguistics engineering, surgeries, cybernetics, nanotechnology, virtual technology etc. is seen as "liberation" from humanity to some fantasy post human world or trans humanism. No matter the cost. And if this is the ideology / religion of the major western countries, and its pushed by force onto others it can only lead to another major world conflict. And many many small ones.

The only paradoxical thing about all this is that the left has no truly strong leaders. Its rise to power is more about weak liberals and large beurocracy and cultural and technological shift of small number of companies dominating so much. But in the event of war, that won't matter. They will need strong leaders and they have no one like Hitler or Stalin or Mao. The silicon valley types did not grow up in WWI era and poverty. They grew up in luxury. In the event of war I can see them folding easily. Because how do you delete a tank from the account. How do you censor an airplane or armed forces coming after you? You don't. But if they keep this up , they will have their war. Because there will be no other option for people to take.
