I don't know why anyone would be shocked. No one voted for Biden insomuch as they voted against Trump. I say with all seriousness that I didn't even know what Joe's platform was until disturbingly late in the election season and it was clear to me then he was having cognitive issues.
But hey, no more mean tweets...

HIs platform has but one plank - "I ain't Trump"
BTW, I voted for Trump the first time because he wasn't Hilary Clinton and I voted for Trump the last time because he was not really either a republican nor a democrat. He was our first WYSIWYG POTUS IMHO! LOL
Trump was the first time I voted for a Big Two candidate since the 1992 Presidential election. Simply put I did - and still do - think that the Big Two do NOT represent the people and have far more in common than they do differences. Some people may call that "wasting my vote," but I think of it as voting my conscience.
But in 2020, I voted for Trump. Not so much for what he did, although I have to admit he did more good things than I expected - along with all the bad things I expected - but because his opponent was clearly out of it, and that prospect terrified me. I mean, this wasn't about political ideology, this was about handing the keys to the greatest nation on earth (even if we are fading), to someone who barely can string a sentence together without a teleprompter.
I'm being perfectly serious: I thought of Joe's handlers as committing elder abuse, and I've seen nothing since then that convinces me I was wrong. Maybe the powers behind the throne thought they could handle him, but that has not turned out to be in anyone's benefit, except those who want to see the U.S systematically fail both domestically and abroad. His administration is akin to setting a house on fire just to watch it burn.
