I would have gone down an aisle and clocked it with a few cans of foods, or sporting goods and whacked its knee with a baseball bat.
It is in vigilante mode with that self appointed badge, and claims his wife is whatever, irrelevant, just a rationalization to justify behavior that it knows to be borderline, and then self appointed to enforce regulations and then declaring you are a bad American, now it has proclaimed its the judge & jury. Plenty of those attacks on Antifa videos where they do the same thing, to get you to drop your guard.
