YouTube CENSORS all outdoor, trapping, hunting videos!?!?!?!

This guy - Flair - has over 2.4 million subscribers, for fuck sakes.

He also owns numerous outdoor companies.

Needless to say, he's no longer a happy camper.

All decent people should leave youtube/google. Being there helps them financially and enables their censorship and leftist agenda's

Trapping is a cruel and unnecessary practice. Hunting - by archery or firearm isn't necessarily so and I have NO quarrel with that. But trapping is awful. It should be prohibited.

Depends on the situation. You may not get as hungry as some other folks. Conibear traps usually kill immediately.

Reminds me of the ban on hunting deer in Chicagoland at the county parks and surrounding rural areas. It wasn't long before the deer were starving to death from over population with no control mechanisms in place, THAT was very cruel.

I remember a taxiing jet plane at O'Hare hit one on the runway & its happened many times apparently.

@Weltansicht yeah I left the word "no" out of my above comment. I have NO quarrel with hunting. The North American White Tail Deer herd is waaaayyyy to big. Culling is necessary. Hunting season for the deer should be 12 months per year for several years.
I do not approve of trapping animals. Go watch some videos on trapping. It is extremely cruel.

@iThink I live in Arkansas, and I can respect your opinion, but reality is another thing.

Beaver cause damage to human food production, specifically rice production here. We produce more rice than California.

Coyotes here are another problem. And again, cause damage to human food production, damage to wildlife, and go into cities and eat backyard pets. I would rather be cruel to an excessive member of a predator species than suffer the cruelty of the loss of a pet or livestock, which by the way are some kids' 4H project and greatly loved and cared for.

I won't bore you with the nutria problem, its in the screenshots as well.

But tell me, are you one of those that Killer Mike sings about? And are you one of those loyalists of the World Economic Forum on you will own nothing and be happy & that will be happy eating just one hamburger a month because they commanded you to believe?

@Weltansicht my opinion about trapping has nothing to do with my opinions about global economics.
I have no doubt that trapping CAN or could be done in ways that do not cause undue pain and torture of animals. I am fully aware of the coyote problem and I have no problem shooting them - year round. Leg traps are another thing entirely.
There might be a very small minority of fur trappers who are diligent about running/checking their traps at least one time every day. Too often animals caught in leg traps are found after suffering for days before finally dying.
The beaver problem likewise. If trapping beaver is done mercifully.
Nutria - depends on how they are trapped . again my objection is to the undue suffering of the animal caught in traps.
I don't really know but I think one problem is the "hobbyist" or part time trapper. They use leg traps - sometimes forget where they set traps - go for days before checking their traps...again this is mere conjecture but there certainly must be professional fur trappers - people who make their living fur trapping. I imagine such men would be diligent and systematic about running their traps.
I am not really against fur trapping per se' - especially if the species being trapped are "nuisance" animals like over populated coyotes. I understand the necessity for shielding live stock from predators.
I did some hunting when I was a young man - rabbit, squirrel, quail. Never shot a deer but that isn't because I objected to it...I just didn't want to do all the hard work necessary to do it legally and do it right. Also I did not like the idea of being out there with about 10,000 once a year hunters swilling beer and shooting at anything that moves.
Basically I believe that over populated species and nuisance species need to be culled. Just do it in the most humane way possible and I have no objections to it - and do away with - prohibit use of leg traps!

@iThink You are absolutely right sir, your trapping opinion has nothing to with your global economics opinion; but unfortunately or fortunately for you, those topics are opinions for many others, liberals zoomers millennials PETA et al. and their cognitive dissonance.

We have a real humane way of dealing with those city slickers who are so condescending with those opinions. We invite them and bring their friends, and go out in the woods and the fields and see the damages. If they don't become food for the wild & feral hogs, are not smart enough to go up a tree and not frozen in fear, they change their minds about all of it. Also why we have Arkansas Toothpicks.

As for your demagoguery of conjecture/projection of 'sometimes forget where they set traps - go for days before checking their traps...' is ludicrous and against the law. You are required to check your traps everyday. The novice usually learns from the old timer, the tricks of the trade, otherwise you will not catch anything except by accident. Also there are accredited trapping schools even one run by the federal government. Forgetful? I suppose you never heard of the centimeter accuracy of GPS.

Much like gun safety, it only takes one miscreant to get the whole mob of flying monkeys & advocates to come screaming out about it. That kind of hysteria leads to Salem Witch hunts or blaming one bad man and therefore his entire race, occupation, or gender must be evil.

Your idea of 10,000 once a year hunters swilling beer and shooting at anything that moves is why hunting deer year round is not allowed. They would shoot the moms and leave the fawns orphans. We had some of those people come out here, thinking the woods here was public land and could hunt where ever they wanted without permission, and had no understanding of the universal No Hunting Purple Paint law. They cut the barb wire that keep & contain the free range cattle enclosed because it did not allow the deer to run through where they set up an illegal hunting stand. They got to be pumpkins and worked for free on the county chain gang.

@Weltansicht "arkansas toothpick" LOL!!

@Weltansicht a given persons (city slicker?) lack of survival skill has nothing to do with the inhumane use of leg traps. Really my only objection to the use of leg traps. Sure there must be some more humane method of taking fur bearing animals and nuisance species.
Also I think you are being a bit chauvinistic in your characterization of so called city slickers lacking the intelligence or common sense to scurry up a tree if pursued by coyotes or wild pigs...now the Puma is quite another thing - climbing a tree won't help you there. LOL!
No question about it "the woods" are full of danger and peril even for experienced outdoorsmen much more for your proverbial city slickers.

@iThink No on some there is not with leg traps. Fur bearers can be farmed, like mink farms or fox, but then you are back to the cognitive dissonance of the PETA mindset. You cannot have it both ways. Perhaps you should watch some TV shows like Life Below Zero or Mountain Men and maybe you will understand the 'smarts' & wariness of some of those predators.

Can't say we have had puma attacks here, but out West I do recall a few incidents.

I may be quite chauvinistic from my empirical evidence observation, but it is based upon those eating tide pods, licking toilets, or attempting to grow a garden in occupied Portland CHAZ and the real city slickers from Memphis or St.Louis. I have yet to see a lick of common sense from any of them.

@Weltansicht yes but the Chaz idiots, tide pod eating fools etc not not representative of city dwellers in general. I am not a fan of PETA - they do indeed suffer with "cognitive dissonance" and their methods and strategies are destructive in many ways to animals and humans. PETA is just another typical left wing organization. I am not left wing at all.

I'll tune in later to see his presentation on the new channel. Not my usual youtube, but hey, I do go out doors.

They took out others and other venues, anything with self reliance basically.

Yup. They hate independent people. Especially men.
