once the applicable laws regarding rioting, arson, looting, murder, rape all in the name of "justice" were decidedly NOT applied it was no holds barred.
Reminds me of an old line - "how are ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm once they've seen the big city"
How are you going to keep law and order once you've let such egregious crimes slide for the sake of a political initiative and ideology.

what - regarding application of law? I would direct the justice department to take action (where Federal intervention is allowed) and I would empower (and demand) that State militia be called up to stop the violence.

Seriously though I believe our biggest problem is apathy. If we could only find a way to get everyone motivated to get off their lazy arses and go to the polls on election day things MIGHT turn around.
