The answer is unequivocally YES!

A day or so ago I received a comment from @XXXXXXXXXX which I think would be both interesting and deserving of a response?

It might be interesting to note for any such future occasion you might make it known for some unknown reason that the purple it the designated color of royalty – or so I’m given to understand, JUST A THOUGHT. I’ve never heard this purple thing before – nor does it mean anything other than an experiment, I suppose?

Well, that could be a good thing - or bad? The opposite of “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” is “Familiarity breed contempt.”

Prejudice like discrimination is a loaded words Every kind of creature with the least bit cognition both discriminates sooner or later finding themselves prejudice in one way or the other – they wouldn’t be alive if not. You can’t live without being prejudice in some way(s). It’s what or why you’re prejudice that matters. To over simplify: I’m pretty sure that you discriminate against poison ivy – you are therefor prejudice. To UN-simplify: You don’t go riding around with bank robbers – do you?

I’ certainly hope so - “try” is the most important word in your sentence. When being put under oath in a courtroom you’ll be asked to TELL THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH – for a reason, an important one!

Abraham, as you’ll recall, told the local ruler that Sarah was his sister rather than wife. By slightly misleading him, he prevented him from murdering himself and preserved the integrity of his spiritual sister at the same time. Had he been forced to take the courtroom oath, he’d be dead, the ruler would be guilty of murder, and Sarah would like be forced into a compromising situation? Hence the careful oath wording in courtrooms.

NONE OF THE ABOVE HAVING TO DO WITH THE INTENTION OF THIS POST – WHY?

Somewhere in your comment, I thought you had said that you didn’t like using the words BLACK or WHITE regarding race? And me with a catalog of things to say on that subject. Perhaps I just mistook what your comment had to say? I was going to point out the reason(s) why WHITE is being preferred over caucasion these days – even my spell checker doesn’t want me to use the word CAUCASION, why is that? One reason may be because CAUCASION is or would b be somewhat complimentary? But saying white is just as uninformative as saying black would be.

Not thinking it would even be there, I came across this excellent lecture I watched five or six years ago. As it turns out, skin color has virtually nothing to do with the way human types were categorized – nothing at all. I only stumbled on this video while looking for something connecting SLAV(IC) to CAUCASION. Or maybe it doesn’t go without saying that the very word SLAVE is a derivative of SLAV. Another point of note is that, as I recall, the artist Alphons Maria Mucha used the extensive SLAVIC SLAVE TRADE as backdrop for a huge number of his pieces – look him up?

One other contention with the enslaving of the European Slavs was the practice by Arabs of castrating male slaves, penis balls all, so as to not defile their race – lovely people, don’t you think? Maybe that was done in the Atlantic slave trade – I just never heard of it?

PS1. Has the United States Government replaced CAUCASION with WHITE on application & forms?

PS2: Anyone of any race can be a racist at anytime – PERIOD!
