The so called Five Eyes, intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States is just a cartel made up of cartels who abuse the power of the state and black spy arts to extend their power with impunity.
@Krunoslav Assange is a target because he speaks truth. That is his crime. The five eyes are hidden by truth and lies mixed together so the people can not tell what is actually happening and truth is like sunlight to a vampire for the five eyes. And like a vampire, the five eyes feed on, not blood, but power. Makes you wonder, do the agents in the five eyes see the direction they are taking the world in? Are they just evil or to close? Or perhaps both?
The Clintons have been wanting to get their hands on him.
This is a very sad and disturbing day for journalism and freedom everywhere

Assange may not havbeen utterly stupid; let's hope not. He may have material that could buy his freedom but I'd only agree not to publish, never release except death.
I really feel sorry for him, a fine man.
Of course, Assznge couldn't ever afford to say what he did. EVEN if Trump lost.
Let Noam Chomsky(spelling!!) have those rights. He said Trump was worse than Hitler. I should try to see why he said that.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse!! The ugliness is breathtaking.
I'll share something I saw on YouTube years ago, in 2016 just before the US election and Hillary, the shoe in, LOST!! Assange was asked something about who'd vote for Trump.
Assange fell squarely into the trap and said(this took my breath away THEN),
'I suppose WHITE TRASH!! and the like'. I know Trump, thin skinned, vindictive Trump also learned this, likely heard this. And never helped Assange.
If Assange had SHUT UP, or better ...said something decent, I think he'd be free today, or better off.
The Bible in the book of James talks about the dangers of 'the tongue 
', comparing it to the rudder of a boat

the masses COULD overthrow this, but not likely at all.
