The DCCC (Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) just released some good news for Republicans. In an effort to increase diversity, they will no longer be placing straight white males in senior staffer positions.
This is certainly not to say that there are no gays, lesbians, people of color or indigenous peoples qualified to run congressional campaigns on a national level. But when, as Politico reported Thursday, staffers are chosen based primarily on their race, gender and sexuality… well, we’ve already seen how that vetting process worked out with our so-called Vice-President.
Should be fun.
