Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I don't think we would like living in a world where our food (potable water, meats, grains, vegetables, dairy...eggs...etc) were brought to kitchens and tables everywhere without oversight of FDA whose job it is to ensure that the food is safe for the population to consume.

You might be surprised how many very healthy people raise and handle their own foods and foods for consumption by others. They also don’t depend upon drugs approved by the FDA.
Don’t get me wrong, the FDA wasn’t always a weaponized arm of the government any more than the weaponized arms. They have, in the past offered value. Those days are past. They can no longer be trusted and now do far more harm than good. If they were disbanded, along with the Centers for Deception and Control (CDC) and the WHO, the world would be better off. The “news” media outlets very similar. They used to have value, but now they are nothing but a weaponized tool of those rich and powerful who use them against the common man in order to obtain more power and wealth. They used to have value, but have betrayed their purpose, selling their souls for a bag of beans.
This is simply my opinion, but it is backed by a plethora of readily available types of evidence.
@Daveclark5 I see your point - there is a big difference between a family that grows their own food and the folks (probably more than 90% of the population) who do not and cannot grow their own food. In USA we have about 320 Million people - the vast majority living in cities and suburban zones. There is no space for growing their own food. They have to rely on a stable market strategy - food grown in mass quantity and logistically managed to get the supply to where it can be bought by the people.
Furthermore, growing your own food is labor intensive and time consuming. It leaves very little time for other things like working/earning wages in order to support your family in a warm home...
Unless we go back pre-1860 or so - back when USA was mostly an agrarian society - living spread out over the countryside - on farms and ranches and working with the model of a barter / trading economy it just is not practical to think we can "grow our own food" in this modern era.
The problem is not with gov't agencies themselves - The problem is that those agencies have been corrupted and weaponized by corrupt politicians who believe in a corrupt philosophy known as Communism and a centralized government.
I do appreciate your opinions on this topic. Self sufficient production of food is a dreamy idea. But unless we experience some kind of cataclysmic event that drives the population out of the cities and back to the countryside - well, we just will not vuluntarily or spontaneously abandon the city life.
