But there is another point to add to this. The model who is demonstrating this item (and it is a real product) must be falling back unreflectively on her modeling training. But this is not lingerie or a thong swimsuit. Though she is attempting to appear sexy (lips gently parted and eyes offering a "come hither" look), someone should have told her that the transparent shield in front of her mouth and nose and the filter tubes bent around her neck expelling filtered air toward her face, along with ultraviolet light reflecting that oxygen-deficient appearance from her lips, rather effectively destroys the sensual look she is attempting to give. She seems more like an android at some kind of recharging station. We will have to wait for the blue light to change color before we issue to her the order to make dinner or to sweep the house.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I think she's a wanna be model - maybe someones daughter or niece who works for the ad agency or the photographer or maybe the company that is selling the device - she isn't particularly pretty; her upper face and eyes she seems to be asking "am I doing it right"? her lips are seductive looking, but her neck looks stiff and head slighly pulled up and back. could be her nose is distorted by the clear device over it but it looks rather large for her face. The photo is not flattering for her face nor for the breating device. Its just a weird looking pic and it won't help with marketing the device.

I started looking for alternatives to the masks after finding one that made the wearer look something like a duck (Verimask). I found full helmets that gave that 2001: A Space Odessey look, selling for $250 to $300. So this has become crazy. The MicroClimate and BioVyzr are both battery-driven filtration systems that are being sold for travel protection. If one were to wear a yellow raincoat and yellow galoshes with the BioVyzr, people would start running away fearing a radiation or chemical leak. That these things are on the market is a gauge of how much fear exists among us. These are not traditional respirators. They are attempts to take advantage of the pandemic. [bbc.com]
