The public schools of California are badass: Berkeley, UCLA, Santa Barbara, UCSD, Santa Cruz, UCSF, etc. There also exist badass public high schools. There is a demographic that cares about the quality of California's public schools, and there are Democrats that want to cripple the schools. Powderkeg. Certain war.

New York's public schools suck, both the colleges and high schools. SUNY and CUNY are weak. Private school is standard in New York. There exist 2 good public schools, Bronx Science and Stuyvesant, but Democrats crippled them by eliminating merit from admissions.

In California, there is incentive to fight to save the public schools. In New York there is none. That's why New York was able to cripple the good schools without a fuss. In California, there will be fuss.

This will prove to be a prime axis of political divide. There are those who believe in merit, and there are those that oppose it. Everyone will have to take a side. There are those that believe that supporting merit is racist, and there are those that believe that opposing merit is racist.

People who identify with a racial tribe are beyond logic. The way they advance their tribe is to put down other tribes. In all race-based politics, there is a tribe being put down. Invariable, the race-based politicians say that it's moral to put the tribe down.

The Democratic party is like a wrecking ball. They can't do something that's good for everyone. Everything they do invariably hurts a subset of the voters. Lots of people have been hurt by the Democratic party, for example oil drillers in New Mexico. This bad karma adds up and will express itself as an earthquake.

We have to find ways to schism the Democratic party, and this is a way. There are extremists in the Democratic party that have toxic stances, and moderate Democrats will someday realize that they don't want to be associated with this toxicity. The Mayor of San Francisco threw the disgraced school board members under the bus.

Expose all toxicity in the Democratic party.

The SF mayor gave a statesmanlike speech after the school board rout. She said the school board failed to do its job. She acknowledged that the parents have spoken, and that school board members should serve their constituents. Now the onus is on her to appoint better board members.

The school board members that were ousted blamed white supremacy.

What it really is is angry parents in general. SF has lots of elite schools. And in particular, there is a massive Asian demographic in SF that was surely in favor of the recall. California politicians are trying to weaken California schools, and there are lots of academics with kids in school that will object
