Try thinking of a stock certificate as the dollar bill in your pocket? Because it performs pretty much the same way – the more in circulation the less valuable that dollar of yours becomes. And conversely the fewer in circulation the more valuable that dollar of yours will be – it’s inevitable!
Now look at the buyback of stock the same way – it’s reducing the number of shares in circulation therefore the stock not sold back invariably will have to increase in value – will it not?
Hold very still now, you might get nicked in your getting sheered – the above rationalization (because that’s all that is) is far from all the fleece these so called experts are here trying to explain away – want a blindfold, it might help keep you calm when you pay even a little more attention to these people, maybe maybe not?

First Uncle Joe got you to put more money into circulation lowering its value, now to buy back your shares of stock for that less valuable dollars – thereby transferring the value your shares had before back to the corporation increasing the value of the shares remaining in circulation. So who made money on this shell game – under which shell is it hiding now?

They are both wrong. Nothing wrong with a little socialism and nothing wrong with more conservatism. A little socialism means roads,water lines and power lines get built so as to improve the life of the country as a whole. Conservatism will help to control the costs of these projects by introducing free market capitalism into the process to allow private companies the opportunity to bid and win on these contracts. Which will help to hold down the costs. Thats should be used for every government program we have, including Social Security and Medicare. Free and open competition for consumer dollars is the only way to keep costs down.
