I really love the argument that Republicans don’t care about children after they’re born. ok, this is usually in regards to 2 things guns and funding of social programs to help mothers and children. When it comes to guns if they actually listened to the other side they’d realize we all want the same thing. The reason they want guns is for the same reason they want to get rid of them. I know few to no person on the conservative side who would say that because they feel taking guns away puts children more at risk that this pushing for “common sense” gun reform want. children to die the same way those people say conservatives do. most conservatives understand the other side is just trying to keep children safe we just disagree on the beat way to do it and rather than actually debate the better solution, conservatives get painted as monsters who want children to get shot. As far as social programs for mothers and children. Again, conservatives aren’t against helping them but when the only solution is government handouts of course that must mean they want children to suffer when they say no to them. conservatives are all for helping children and mothers. they fund many charities. I mean if you can come up with a way to spend responsibly and not incentivize handouts and encourage people getting off of them im sure conservatives might be on board. it also doesnt help that its treated like their is an abundance of money to pay for everything for everyone. and sure the rich could maybe pay more but when we want tontalk about fairness and how great this countey is the reason is because we have the ability to be that rich. if you start taking from peoples to carry the weight of others why would anyone even attempt to be rich? now i absolutely think the rich should donate and they probably don't need EVERY penny they have but the same could be said about prople in the middle class. and hell some of the people at the bottom just look at their spending and you can see they aren’t without because they can't get things but because they choose others. But yeah this conservatives don't care because we don't want to give into social programs? yeah no, again just feel there is a better way for all of us than letting the government handle all our problems.

Capitalism has given the world so many great things and built us into the great country we are today. And I support Republicans who want less government, but here in lies the problem. Then they turn around and pander to globalist corporations and give all kinds of incentives and tax breaks at the cost to the American people. They do not fight for health care, they fight for health care companies, they do not fight for wages to match inflation, they fight for the rights of corporations. Don't get me wrong, I am a conservative. But right now I do not like anyone in office, either side of the aisle.

oh hey. im not saying there arent issues with capitalism that can be had. im also not saying there isnt merit to socialism. i think capitalism is definitely the better option when you break down pros and cons but thats the think im getting at im willing to see where socialism has potential to be good. i understand why people who advocate for it do. i could easily just see the cons of it and how the goal is really just to steal from the wealthy and make us all equally poor but no i understand they are trying to help everyone and it makes some sense but when you follow it to it’s end it ultimately makes things worse. those on the left however just see all the bad of capitalism and think that is what all conservatives are about. like that isnt it. we see that structure allowing you to become as wealthy ad you can/want to be. it allows for much more freedom. does it mean some people will be poor yes but it also allows for you to not be. but like i said they just aee it as people being greedy, not that it makes us more free to do as we please
The authoritarian leftists are a cult. They have their own scriptures, their own rituals, their own prophets and their own non-theistic saviors. What they lack is the path of redemption offered by Abrahamic and Hindic religions. They condemn their own if there is the slightest deviation from the ever-changing edicts of the heirarchy. They live on hate and part of what they hate is reason.
By contrast, the libertarian and conservative right are usually, though not always, founded in some form of religious atonement based upon repentance and forgiveness. They thrive on love, even the atheists among them, and hold no animus toward their political foes.
In a nutshell, the right wants to redeem the left while the left wants to eradicate the right. Only problem for leftists is that as they eliminate more and more of the right, more and more of them are perceived as right by the ones that remain, and the right must always be destroyed.
