I must say the NZ system is a very good idea, it is maybe not that well applied, but students get to have limited loans while they study and then have to pay it back via an additional income tax when they work through their lives.

The taxpayers do subsidise students inasmuch the student is not charged interest on the loan while they study and the loan is them rated at the reserve bank interest rate so it is the cheapest loan available that still needs to be paid back.

However it is very important to clearly state the difference between jobs that require a proper education from an accredited institution and “soft sciences”.

Everyone in the country should go to college, take out a government loan, and then demand that it be canceled.

If Democrats make college free, then every Republican should go to college, including the elderly.

The problem is that the last 3 or 4 generations are unfamiliar with the concept of sacrificing some things in order to achieve a goal. They have been able to "have their cake and eat it too" for their entire lives.
If you delve into their lives, take an objective look around you will see that they all are "kitted out" with trendy clothing, tattoos, nice if not new cars, housing, eating out every day, drinking beer and alcohol almost daily, using weed;cannabis and other drugs regularly, smart watches, the latest comuters and other related pieces of hardware; expensive smart phones...the women all have their hair and nails done, are also tatted up, trendy clothes, living in "better parts of town" where rents are higher, etc. NONE or very very few of them have had to sacrifice the lifestyles they were accustomed to living before age 19. No sharing cold water flats; no living in a rented upstairs bedroom, Not wearing old but suitable clothes;
The very idea and claims of being unable to repay their student loans is fallacious and ridiculous. They simply do NOT intend to sacrifice all their cool trendy lifestyles in order to repay their debts.
Why should Tax payers pay their debts? Much if not most of "working taxpaying" Americans are not college educated. How would it benefit them, much less how would it benefit greater tax paying society to foot the bill so that the "college educated" can continue their high living ways. They have to learn to "pay their own way" sooner than later - now is a good time to start!

A college "Indoctrination" is exactly what THEY need to maintain power and control!!!
Twelve years of public school ("Indoctrination" ) apparently is no longer enough!!!!!
And, power and control IS the END GOAL!!!!!!!!

Psychology is a failed field. Psychologists are nevertheless arrogant.

Psychologists are in denial that physics impacts psychology, and this is holding back psychology.

Many psychologists hate quantitative people, and blanket label them as having a mental disorder.

Most psychologists are incapable of logic, or of convincing anyone of anything. If someone disagrees with a psychologist, the psychologist labels that person has having a mental disorder. Psychologists are lame.

Fewer people need to major in English, psychology, and the "studies" fields. Bailing them out would send the wrong message.
