I do wonder at the incessant back and forth on issues without pulling strings as to the who behind them and where the funding and support comes from for obviously ill conceived ideas that exacerbate social dissonance but are presented as solutions to social dissonance. It seems an effort in futility.

As an example, the US is the most diverse and inclusive society on the planet yet is criticized for its lack of diversity and inclusion. Basically, because of inequitable outcomes. I mean really, what other nation has set the example to be diverse and inclusive more so than the US. It cannot be denied that it had to recognize and include, the sexes, races, cultures and ethnicities within the fold of humanity but it has essentially worked its way to that point ahead of most nations. The individual is recognized as the weakest unit of society in its Constitution and it is his basic human rights that need guaranteeing by government. The only criteria is, to fit under the definition of "individual", in order to have those rights guaranteed. Of course, an individual who infringes upon the rights of another, in turn, loses his guarantee of those rights. The concept of the individual, in order to guarantee rights, has grown to include, those who are women, races other than the establishing white European, all religions (that can earn the recognition to fall under the definition). There is an argumentative discussion on whether to include a fetus under the definition of individual, some do not wish this recognition to be granted but even if it is not an individual it must at least be granted the recognition of the single way to achieve that recognition of becoming an individual. There is no other way than the combination of an ova and spermatazoa. Should that path be infringed upon? Are children individuals or are they under the tutelage of their parents and society to become individuals? They definitely do not have the same rights as adults that grant them freedom and liberty in their pursuit of happiness. They must learn certain responsibilities and obligations to others and to themselves to enhance their ability to be on their own.

Where are other countries so diverse and inclusive? China? Africa? European nations are a close second, maybe.

As to equity - if it is defined as "equal outcomes" that is simply an impossibility unless it is engineered because we know of the diversity of individuals, outcomes will always be different.

The US has entered into a place where the guaranteed rights of individuals is threatened by the government that is supposed to protect those rights. This is actually an attack on the individual. There shall be no individuality. There shall be only a single civilization that is engineered from a central authority. This is a communist threat, where the rights of government are guaranteed and there is no transparency or ability to scrutinize by individuals outside the circle of those individuals who deem themselves infallible in the right to direct the lives of others.
