New York State is not likely to change their abortion laws. Abortion right up to and immediately after birth. Starving the child to death (withholding all sustenance and care) has been made legal. Despicable. A child fresh born is unquestionably a human being. Aborting it post birth is murder in any other society in the world.

@JacksonNought I'd have to go look for it. I read it about a month ago in a prominent news paper but cannot off hand remember the publications name. You might try reading the actual legislation. I just remember picking myself up off the floor that such minds exist. At the moment I have too much to do but I'm sure the info is out there.

Note One: This was not the article I had originally read. The discussion I had seen obviously was an extrapolation of possible scenarios.

Note Two: With Roe v Wade being overturned there was mention that NYS might have to revert to its generous laws passed in 1970. Time will tell.

However, your last note is correct, and repealing Roe could allow states to set their own laws and quite literally make it legal to kill a freshly born child. Just one of the possibilities of removing right to privacy and giving states' rights more power.

Abortion has overwhelming support among the majority of Americans. Notice it is never put up to a ballot measure for majority vote, but just shoehorned in by those in power? Sure, put it on the ballot, let the voters decide, watch it be legal in all states.

What civil rights are you personally willing to be left up to a vote? If a majority of people vote for mandatory vaccines, are you going to be first in line?
