B.L.U.F.: “all white people are prejudiced and no black people are prejudiced”

Background:
————I worked for IBM (a longtime “Woke” organization) for a couple of years before returning to my military career. At that time the Spartanburg, South Carolina branch had undergone a long hiring freeze while acquiring new businesses. When they hired me (after the hiring freeze) they had about 12 of the 40 technicians/engineers needed for the job site. They had fallen so far behind in providing support to the customers (7 restaurant concepts with thousands of locations) that their customer support ratings had dropped into the toilet.

They couldn’t even keep up with answering calls, much less fixing problems, so after over 1/2 year of failing the customers, they hired about 35 unskilled data entry personnel to answer the phones and enter the problem reports into a database that we could later call back and more efficiently fix their problems.

These new workers were almost exclusively black female workers fluent only in Ebonics with a heavy southern accent. By that time I was one of their most productive analysts/technicians and I was handling 3 calls at a time and listening to the data entry employees in adjoining cubicles, to shortcut calls with quick solutions to resolve and close out calls before they made it into the database. One of these data entry phone technicians was having a hard time understanding the manager of an El Pollo Loco and he was struggling understanding her. She became frustrated and loudly said something like “people need to go back where they come from if they can’t talk good English”. Needless to say all there were many people on phones net her and all their callers could hear this statement. I placed my callers on hold for a minute while I rolled my chair back to look around the cubical at her and tell her that she needed to keep her prejudice to her self and that her discriminatory statements would not be allowed as we treat all our customers and employees with equal respect.

Awakening:
————She looked confused and shocked and said, “I CAN’T BE PREJUDICED; I’M BLACK!”

I quickly informed her that even this statement shows her prejudice, then I got back to my customers.

Endemic Cause:
————This wasn’t the first time I had heard this statement by a “person of color”. I even heard this statement coming from one of my college professors over 4 decades ago. This prof stated, “all white people are prejudiced and no black people are prejudiced because you have to be in a position of power to be prejudiced.”

It doesn’t take much intelligence or even common sense to see the foolishness of this statement. If this is what is has been taught for decades to the youth of this nation in our education system, it’s no wonder we have so many victims and woke fools today.

The question itself presumes it is correct that race is based on skin color, which has been proved false for decades, when the human genome was sequenced. And there is no possible way to prove differences in culture are superior or inferior.

I respond to PEOPLE according to their rationality. I have done my very best to be a fair person; however, if any person, blond haired, short, tall, or whatever, finds me unacceptable for any reason, that is fine. I shall withdraw from them, as with that, I will have not the slightest interest in attempting to engage them in rational conversation.
