I particularly like Professor Peterson, not because he’s right, but because he’s constantly searching.

An atheist may rightly say that the Bible doesn’t make sense; nd that’s actually not a problem. What is a problem is the pretentious notion that you/I/or they could even understand HIM-- GOD!

Does anyone actually understand quantum physics – and I don’t mean the multitude of pretenders we’re burdened with? And even if it were to be finally understood by man, another challenge would abruptly appear – a challenge we haven’t yet dreamt of. The challenges to human understanding infinite never to be truly accepted except by faith alone. That is why faith will out over all human comprehension. And yes yes I know, before you skewer me, faith is indeed dead without its demonstration by works.

Nothing said is to support not continuing mankind’s continual search – GOD put problems even vexations there for mankind to solve and overcome – HE created them after by and through HIS singular Son and your Lord.

Who is so pretentious as to think they can know GOD, and The Bible is HIS word after all?

I venture to say, that even after GOD telling you who HE is you still can’t know HIM? When asked did HE not say that HE is I AM THAT I AM? {Exodus 3:14} The good Professor should grab hold of that as tightly as he can – just a suggestion if I can be so presumptuous?

Rightly or wrongly, I would here posit for consideration, that GOD told Moses that HE is what HE is and can be whatever HE wants to be? Another way of saying that HE is the essence of all consciousness and can be whatever HE wishes to be? Therein is the ultimate quandary for humankind – interesting don’t you think? And there is much to discuss?

PS. I like to think of The Bible as an exhaustive Owner’s Manual, there to in part frustrate the supercilious of this world, the superstitious as Paul called them – you may see it differently, so be that as well? Worship not freely given isn’t worship at all, it’s extortion?

Perhaps another way of framing this is to say that a precondition for truth is the existence of truth. Deny the existence of truth and you can no longer argue what is true—or good, or beautiful or of value. The biblical library argues for and seems even to demonstrate the existence of truth in some form or another. One needn’t assert the literal veracity of the text to see that it does point in the direction of truth. Its foundation is a search for truth based on the supposition that truth does exist and can be comprehended.
