I disagree that Constitutionalists do not care about the majority, because the Constitution protects the rights of the majority, and at times protects those rights against the tyranny of the minority. The Republican Party was founded by Lincoln to conserve the Constitution. Democrats look so bad against that noble purpose that their only recourse is to slander Republicans and convince you that there is no difference. Half of America have been fooled, and are utterly ignorant of the history of corruption of the “Party of the common man,” (the Democrats.)

Where there is no consensus, there may be no law. Roe v Wade was passed by fiat in the dead of night, and I dispute the claim that a majority actually supports it.

Precedent law speaks clearly that we shall not kill. Medicine has for hundreds of years defined life at the heartbeat, ONLY until political expediency tried to redefine life. Calling for a redefinition after the debate begins is illegitimate.

Until there is NATIONAL agreement by 2/3 of the population - which Congress requires in serious issues like this, the law stands, and abortion is Federally illegal.

First: the purpose of the Supreme Court is not to rule according to popular support. Their purpose is to rule according to the constitutional legality of an issue.

Second: despite the fact that the leftists have been able to push their heinous agenda of death culture through erroneous logic and false science, and cause many to believe their lies (eg. the baby in the womb being somehow not human, but just a growth or lump not unlike a cancer; abortion being an issue about the woman’s right to “the pursuit of happiness” rather than the baby’s “right to life” ), the truth has come out and been proven to enough American people that the tide has turned.
Hence, the majority of Americans again know that their instinctual understanding was indeed correct and that babies inside the womb of a human are also human and also that an innocent person’s right to life is unassailable.

The whole point of the Court is to preserve the Constitution against the whims of the majority that find their way into public Law.
If they were merely to rule in favor of the majority, then we would not need them at all... nor would we need a Constitution for that matter.
Then we'd just be a Democracy rather than a Constitutional Republic, and minorities would simply have no rights.

If the "majority" wants the Constitution to say something different, then they need to get an Amendment passed through their Representatives... that's not what the Court is for.

(Note that: the role of the Supreme Court is obviously a constitutionally "conservative" function, by definition.
There should not be a single "progressive" Justice; each one represents a corruption of the Court, which has resulted in significant corruption of the Constitution itself.
The Court does not represent anybody, it represents the Law of the Land... the Constitution; as written.
It has no legitimate authority, and no business, trying to "re-imagine" the Constitution that was established by the People through their Representatives.)
