I’d have to agree that she is sharp and a good example based upon this one exchange. Trump is certainly a love him or hate him kind of guy. However, we don’t know how power might corrupt her. After a term as CEO for the state of Arizona, we’ll know more.

I’d prefer a known quality candidate that has a proven record of successful experience at the CEO level of government. DeSantis is the best option, but only with Trump support. Given Trump’s enormous ego, that’s not likely, unless the left is stupid enough to try to take Trump out (with Deepstate attacks including weaponized FBI, armed IRS agents, etc…, or a Clinton-style assignation, etc… or character assassination). If Trump gets the nomination, I’ll vote for him, especially with a good VP pick like DeSantis or even Candace or Lake.

This country is divided more than I can remember ever seeing it divided in over half a century. There are many ways of healing the divide, but the opposite of a synergistic solution is war; a lose-lose solution.

You know I didn't want Trump again although he was a good president. He is too old and one of his best qualities was being a workaholic. Now I would prefer him. The establishment has got to be taught a lesson.

I just watched Bill Barr and I swear you would think he was living in 1950. The"Conservative" establishment figures just don't get it. The left is hell bent on destroying Western Civilization so they can have their utopia. The Civil War has already started it just isn't a shooting war. People like Barr can't see that the FBI has abandoned the rule of law and the current president is illegitimate because of actions the FBI took to cover up his influence peddling? What happened to the people who thought Nixon was bad? So we are to believe that Trump should be prosecuted for taking a few papers but Biden selling influence to China is ok? That is a very strange take on the rule of law.

@Daveclark5 I am not so sure that "the country is more divided than before". Because of the computer age and electronic media platforms people generally do not speak to one another anymore. They do all their "talking" from behind a keyboard and a monitor. We all know who electronic media is a poor substitute for personal communications. It is far too easy to misconstrue words typed in a post or an email. Conveyance and open exchange of ideas is severely hamstrung via text, email, site postings and comments. It has no way to convey "intent" and can only project bare words without inflection, emotion, body language...which are all truly necessary when talking over important things with one another.

@iThink I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment about most communication amongst a large proportion of especially the younger generations. However, I can speak from the anecdotal perspective of my own neighborhood (enough common anecdotal evidence can indicates trend) in which the rift has been horrendous. Some of my best friends were adamantly opposed to Trump because of his naughty mouth. They were proud to vote for OBiden. I knew at least tone of them was a devout Catholic, so I asked him if he thought Trumps mouth was more offensive than a candidate that promised to make the wanton murder of innocent babies more common and easily accessible, he could only answer that we can’t survive another tremendous of Trump. My other closest friend on the block was as adamant that Trump must not be allowed to stay in power. Both of them became very cold toward me and whenever they would talk about politics they would sing the praises of the election process that got rid of Trump. When I would join the conversation and bring up the negative effects of the election, they quickly cut me off and said they didn’t want to talk about politics. We used to work side by side with projects in the neighborhood and shared fruit from my trees and their trees and go out of our way to spend time together. We would sharpen each other’s understanding about many issues and discuss everything freely. Every time something happened in the neighborhood, we would discuss the ramifications. Now we avoid each other most of the time other than to wave and say “Hi”. I no longer feel safe (from them turning me in to the Obiden gestapo) when I think about the fact that they know I have weapons, that I am a conservative, that I refuse to wear a mask and that I refuse to get the jab.

I have reminded them when the fruit comes ripe on my trees that they can feel free to pick as much as they like, just like before. I’ve even gone over and told them when there were lots of a particular crop that was ripe if they wanted some. They seem as cordial as a suspicious stranger.

Although they didn’t wear masks or get the jab early on after having discussed it with me, they quickly got on board with the Obiden administration and believe all the nonsense coming from the leftist media. One is dead now, but I’m sure it had nothing to do with the jabs. It was probably just some bad words Trump said.

I’ve seen the decimation of churches after the Covid nonsense which was directly attributable to a leftist terrorist agenda. People don’t trust their neighbors anymore from what I’ve seen. I don’t trust the judgment of those who can’t see what is so obvious and worse yet, I see what the fear-mongering has done to degrade trust in the what people will do to each other in the name of the common good.

We all have a long way to go and I believe those of us who are strong enough and capable enough will need to endure a lot of attacks while being as harmless as doves and as helpful as possible in in healing the divide as possible. There is a Cold War that was waged by the left and many have died because of it, but we can’t fight fire with fire. The only way this country will survive is if God steps in and if we wait in His direction for saving it. He is unlikely to direct us to destroy all the evil people causing the damage, since most of them are doing it out of fear, confusion and ignorance.
