When you hear the phrase “thought crime” you recoil instantly in disgust because of its totalitarian, “1984” Orwellian connoted disgust. But when you hear the phrase “hate speech” why is it that people no longer recoil in disgust even though they’re the very same things?

Just as speech is oration of thought so to is the written word, which for some strange reason Oxford has seen fit to degrade written thought though they’re virtually the same things – the expression of ones thoughts. Wonder why they’d do that? But I digress.

To the socialist thought police everyone must be in the same frame of mind – in lock-step as it were.

Individualism has no place in the socialist religion as they ludicrously believe that ‘sameness’ is the equity to which they futilely aspire. Futilely because neither sameness nor equality exists anywhere in the known universe. Just as there’s no two snowflakes the same, there’s no two human DNA the same save the very remote possibility involving identical twins? This is how it known that life actually begins upon conception and represents a separate life from its mother. Where a fetus a mere clump (growth) of cells would it not present with the same DNA markers as the mother? Seems an easy enough test to determine if it’s a malignancy or separate human being?

Both “hate crimes” and “hate speech” are terms for Orwellian “thought crime” are they not? Looks like we’re arriving sooner than anticipated at the “1984” time zone?
