Can we agree, at least, that Gain (reward) is proportional to the Risk (capital) chanced in all aspects of life – including but not limited to societal matters? The capitalist (hunter-gatherer) formula is the same now, in every aspect of life. as it was then: G(reward) / 
isk = the viability of each and every endeavor in life. This is the basic difference between Capitalism and Socialism.
Or have you never heard the old adage: Nothing ventured, nothing gained?
“You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy” simply means that you no longer chance anything in life because you’ll have nothing with which to chance – is that not socialism?
While socialism is collective group identity – what, if anything, is risked is what your collective group identity stands to lose; capitalism, on the other hand, is basic individualism – what you risk is what you stand to personally lose. Why then the problem you may ask? If nothing is actually risked by a socialist, nothing will actually be gained by that same socialist. A socialist can’t venture anything as they have nothing to begin with to venture – therefore there’s no reward to inspire creativity of any kind – only stagnation can eventually follow.
PS. I apologies for any incoherence herein, as I started this post with a large group of things to address, not to find my way back to the those other topics – possibly latter? I suppose that I got stuck because it’s apparent that socialism is the basic pervasive problem in society today.
PS2. G(reward) / isk = (V)iability. Do you have anything to contribute to this simplification of reality?
