If Joe Biden goes down for something as inane as the Classified Information Procedures Act, we’ll know our government has been taken completely out of our hands. It will mean that the crimes for which he should rightfully answer for, and go to prison for, will be forever covered up, as they gently put him out to pasture in favor of a newer, younger puppet.

John Adams observed that the government created by the Constitution would only work in the context of a moral people. The checks and balances were put in place to allow for the game to be played by fair rules. They were never intended as an antidote to willful corruption. Unfortunately, we’ve turned away while a small minority of the willfully corrupt have insinuated themselves into positions of control throughout every major institution that defines out culture, indeed, our civilization.

They will not be removed, nor the process of decay they’d instigated be reversed, through the normal mechanisms of government action.

We’re not ready for the kind of thi king-outside-of-the-box approach that it will require, but we’d damn sure better get ready, and fast.

Well, I’m not giving up just yet. They got Al Capone on tax evasion but they still got him. And if the Republicans can scrape their shite together we might be able to make some incremental progress. I’m starting to take the same approach as the Fabian Society of the early 20th century: smaller steps taken continually using a ratchet down method. The Fabian Society of course was leftist but anyone can see their strategy was adopted by everyone on the left, and we still see its use today. It is that strategy that we must counter.
