There is no way modern society will still be around to sustain WEF royalty when the population is decimated and their motivation to be productive disappears. Communist governments have proved that for a hundred years now.
The "guilded age" of the elites will last about 5 minutes.

I agree, the outcome would likely be disastrous, even for the so called elite. Unfortunately, power is addictive. One study actually found it to be physiologically and psychologically similar in nature to gambling addiction. How many compulsive gamblers over the years have left Vegas minus their cars, houses, and/or families?
The psychopaths ensconced in webs of global control doubtless have plans to avoid the perils of feudalism while still basking in the unmitigated power of Dark Ages 2.0 nobility. For one, they have the tools of automation, AI, and technocracy in general, at their command. Right or wrong, they may well be convinced that they could get along just fine with the population level engraved on the Georgia Guide Stones.
Then of course there is the additional possibility of a spiritual/religious motivation. Whether or not the elite subscribe even nominally, to the Light Bearer sect of the UN, Alice Bailey, and the Lucis Trust has been a topic of endless speculation. Religious fervour has led to more than one disaster throughout history. In any case, there is a number of scenarios that could lead the “noble” class to such extremes. The hubris level among them is probably off the charts, and it does often cometh before a fall.
