I know Nike is doing well, but I won't but then or Dick's Sporting Goods. I don't need some company trying to lecture me about anything.

It's an interesting strategy when a good portion of your customer base celebrates your demise. I celebrate whenever companies get political a pay a steep price for it. I don't need McDonald's teaching me how to live my life. It's insulting. You make f'ing hamburgers. These asshats make razors to cut hair off of your body. Dick's--living up to their name--sells sports equipment. I don't need to know what your politics are. Goes for Hollywood too. I pretty much stop watching stars as they step up to show how garishly bigoted they are. If I could take back every Robert De Niro movie I've ever watched...

It goes even farther. A decade ago they jacked the price of their blades up so high I stopped buying them. Then they tarred themselves with the toxic masculinity ads and I won't buy them.
P&G's marketing teams used to be the best in the business. Whatever's coming out of the business schools these days must be pure dreck. What in heaven's name convinced them that you can boost sales by insulting your customers?

If you run a campaign based on "white privilege" and pervasive structural racism, "toxic masculinity" and hostility to religion, then you are insulting people whose votes you need.
As the democrats pander free healthcare to invading non-citizens along with an end to private insurance with government rationed "Medicare" for actual citizens. An end to petroleum and a rebuild of every building with government jobs to those that want one but promise to pay those that choose not to work. They are doing the same marketing as Gillette.....shooting themselves in the foot!
Nike can get away with Anti-American marketing because they have market share outside of America. Gillette can not get away with anti-male marketing because you are male or not regardless of their Big outreach to the Trans community!
