I have nothing but good intentions and hope for the country.

I think it's more obvious than ever that there are those who would sell the freedom of others for their own gain.

And there are those who have no idea what is true.

I developed a sort of truth detector that parses words.

I'd like it to be put into widespread use.

I'm trying to package it in a way that everyone can use.

It's an idea to combat propaganda.

@Serg97 I'm smart enough to know there are people a lot smarter. I know I think differently from others.

I happen to believe there is a complete break in how the liberal mind interprets reality.

The current government is either unwilling or unable to discover and prosecute those who break the law at the highest level.

I have some ideas about how to deal with that, I'd like help from people who are smarter and more competent.

And I DO NOT want to be around for that type of future!!!
Some people are smarter than others, some are meaner, some are more self centered, some are all of the above, not a good combination!!!!!

The past couple years, I documented how people acted online.

Like a digital anthropologist.

I've documented the tools they use and how they use them. If everyone understood it, there would be no such thing as fake news. It would be laughed at.

Do you see the value in that?

That's the utopian dream. I have from what I can tell a unique idea, no way to know how it will pan out.

What I did was document how I think, I'm a computer guy.

I have to take an infinite number of potential problems and find out the one (or 2 or more) solutions that make the customer happy.

Right now there is an impossible schism of how people see the world.

nature, nurture
state, individual
nationalism, globlism

They all have the same root.

I think I have a way to jump over the chasm of perspective, but politics is power.

It benefits those in power to rile up the populace so they get to move the levers.

@dd54 I agree with you on a practical level, when I say utopian dream, that includes a civilization that protects the free spirits and allows them to thrive.

to use the word utopia is probably not wise, it's foolish to think everything can be perfect.

I'm talking about pragmatic ways to analyze how we organize people then take a sensible course.

I can't remember who said it, but the sentiment is good: democracy is the worst form of government, it's just better than the the others.

I don't know the answer, of course, everyone is fighting about who should be in charge.

My idea is rooted in what I call the duality of truth.

Notice the radical schism between republicans and democrats.

What one sees as good, the other bad.

I'm pretty lefty on a lot, but I see Trump as the necessary kickback from overreaching of politicians on the left who do what you say-- talk for the people, but act for themselves.

With the media on that side, I'm amazed Trump got in at all.

Neutral over time is death.

it lays out how we think and bypasses words that create thought.

It's how to recognize when someone is trying to influence your thought.

It's a brainwashing detector.

I have some ideas about how to counter propaganda with that.

Ultimately, we all just want to live and be happy. The worst leverage that feeling and take immoral money and power with it.

We want the individual to live, we want the group to live, but if one or the other has too much power, they will hurt the other invariably.

We've been lucky in America that it hasn't happened.

I lived in S. America, it has happened regularly.

If we watched our Government as closely as they watched us, everything would be ok. But they have the power to hide what they do, and lots of money to play lawyerball if anyone ever tries to call them on anything.

It's a vicious cycle.

@SupraLibrix Trump was not elected because people liked him. He was elected because the majority of people saw the evil in The Clinton’s and the Democratic Party, and all the hate and division that the Obama administration caused.
He was seen as the lesser of evils.
We have to find a way to get rid of political parties. We have to get money out of politics and the bias and corruption that all that political money causes in for profit media.

@David42 What I did was reduce communication to its roots. Ix+, Ix, Ix- positive, neutral, negative. Neutral is ignored, it has no influence on the person.

What you do is find out what is being communicated as positive or negative. Then you verify what is true.

What you find is that people say negative stuff that conflicts with what they believe and positive for what they do.

e.g. : Trump is an idiot.
Then they list all the things that confirm their bias.
If you introduce the positive, you introduce cognitive dissonance, instead of acknowledging the possibility that there is truth, they dismiss or ignore it.
Once they believe one thing and they have lots of people who agree including millionaires on TV telling them they are right, they are caught in an infinite loop of hysteria.

The problem is that he's CONSTANTLY embellishing things and flip flopping, but he does it consistently in the conservative direction.

That just confirms everything they think, and they refuse to believe their own leaders do the same.

It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

The truth is irrelevant to how it influences people until reality sets in.

A good liar can make anything look like what it's not. Until you lose your job. Or savings, etc.

It's too bad.

If we can get a trusted web, that cycle can be broken. But we have to create a honeypot to attract commerce.

They seem bent on creating a race war, taking our guns, pushing socialism, inciting riots, dividing Americans into warring factions.
Media gives school shooters their 15 minutes of fame, so they can increase ratings when copycats perpetuate the carnage, and then they push gun control.
Someone kills a bunch of people, so they politicize and push gun control instead of asking why ?
Media executives and top talent are related to top government officials. The left has paid rabble rousers traveling around the country spreading hate, and invade our southern border.
If it’s Christian, they hate it. If it’s against the teachings of the Bible, they are all for it.
Islam is supported, in spite of their backward, violent, sexist, bigotry, that is the essence of what the left hates.
In spite of the explicit conflict, Radical feminists and radical Islamists are polar opposites and yet somehow, both supported by the left and media.

Democrats elected a Chicago neighborhood organizer with no credentials or experience. Media turned a blind eye to his treasonous, ANTI-American activities. And now, we have a 27 year old idiot in congress elected by the Islamists Obama imported to undermine our country from within.
America voted for a billionaire who had nothing to gain, because he wasn’t a lawyer/ politician. He has already accomplished more than Obama.
His accomplishments are presented in a negative light or ignored, while they spare no effort finding fault and making him look like a buffoon.
Media plays on our fears and our ignorance. We as a people are far more congenial than media wants us to think. They exaggerate EVERYTHING, for profit.
All we hear about are the Extremists in BOTH parties.
Most of them are sociopaths.
Moderates either can’t get elected or don’t scream loud enough to be picked up by yellow rag, muck raking media.
American media is owned and operated by six corporations. Look it up and find out who is pulling our strings.
America is still out there in the silent majority.
