Especially now that more test data is starting to show that a lot more people have been infected, spiralling the death rate down. Many of these new recorded cases are people who didn't either know they had the virus or just couldn't get tested when they did realize they were infected and powered thru regardless.

I am not sure. Seems like death from other illnesses are decreasing while coronavirus is increasing.

From what I've been reading Medicare age patients are showing up as covid 19 due to an increase in the reimbursements. Haven't been able to prove what I've read yet so can't say it's truth. Just rumor so far.
Senator Dr. Jensen of Minnesota is the one who uncovered this loop hole for states to get more federal funds for anyone who is diagnosed as covid 19 and even more if they are diagnosed on a ventilator with it. That's why we will never get true numbers. States like NY wh oare always crying for more money will make sure they diagnose everyone with covid.
