The City of Santa Monica is list as #334 on the list, relatively well-off compared to most.
This is what the City of Santa Monica’s City Manager Rick Cole who resigned on April 18th had to say.

Basically, Santa Monica is going Bankrupt.
Before COVID-19 many municipalities were on the verge of bankruptcy. After months of no tax revenue these Cities and many more have been pushed far beyond the edge. I know, because of inside info, some of the high-risk cities are a just few weeks away from completely running out of money. Every day Newsom adds to keeping the economy shut down for California will add more municipal bankruptcies. Another month of shut down is going to be catastrophic, I cannot see how he would get re-elected in the aftermath.

Californians have nothing to complain about!!! They brought this on themselves, with their VOTES!!!
The problem is that the ones who can are moving into other parts of the country that haven't voted themselves into these types of problems!!
If you are an "X" Californian, DO NOT VOTE your new home into another California!!

Media lied about beaches, they mixed stock footage of overcrowded beach scenes with current ones of people wearing mask. They claimed the beaches were way overcrowded but this was not true. Wednesday I was at the location where the overcrowding was claimed, not too may people. Mostly they are around 200 feet apart.
