It is the modern equivalent of the mystical Dark Ages, when so few people knew anything that practically everyone distrusted anyone who actually did know something, and maybe even burnt them at the stake. Does any of this have the feel of what is happening today? It should. You can find websites declaring successful alchemy, lead into gold. Plastic outlet plugs that claim to cut your power usage in half.
No. Society is not smarter. Just the opposite. And most of those in power are not smarter either. The virus is the perfect example. But they are smart enough to take advantage of your fears, because you don’t believe anything they say, which means that’s all they have left, is to try to scare the cr*p out of you. Remember its just a game to the power hungry. Those who aren’t promising you everything are the ones who are actually in office to make a positive difference. It may not be rocket science, but they are all we need.
