Aside from his painfully honest (and funny) portrayals of black characters he grew up with, he helped write one of the most offensive (and funny) movies ever produced: Blazing Saddles. Now that Mel Brooks is taking it back on the road and showing it to packed venues, followed by questions from the audience, it’s going to be back on the radar. I expect the SJWs, who never heard of it, will go berserk when they catch wind of it. The fact that the greatest black comic ever, who did more to show how humor could cross racial lines and eliminate them, was integral to it’s production will be ignored. Probably he’ll be spun as a tragic example of how black talent is forced to compromise for the “right” to perform for their white masters.
Meanwhile, check out the clips of Pryor’s routines that still remain on YouTube. And watch Blazing Saddles: a relic of the golden age of comedy when, as the National Lampoon famously asked, “Is nothing sacred?”

In my world there's still nothing scared! If its funny its funny
I've wondered the same for years. Then I was enlightened when someone peeled back the blinders and made me realize only white people can be racist. I had no idea it was an inescapable function of skin color!

@BikerPetehall70 it's a one way street mate. I haven't heard any SJW or BLM demanding to ban 'White Chicks' movie. Surely black people whitening their face is as racist as white people blackening their face???
