The editorial in Science magazine this week claimed that "The evidence of systemic racism in science permeates this nation" (H. Holden Thorp, Time to look in the mirror, Science 08 Jun 2020).
Yet most of the claimed evidence (e.g. few Science authors from historically black colleges and universities" ) involves multiple factors. I pointed out that to make the racism claim, it is essential to control for those factors.
Is anyone here aware of any multivariate analysis to quantify this alleged racism? And if so, could they share links to the data?

Politically driven science gave us phrenology, eugenics, the climate change hoax and 32 genders. Now it’s driving the lies permeating the pandemic response. We’ve already been told that math is racist. Why not the whole ball of wax? Science? Hell, everything is racist. Throw it all out.
The most laughable aspect of that polemic is the notion that loaded terms like “systemic racism,” or “white supremacy” have anything to do with science. They are political accusations masquerading as established fact. Not only can they not be proven (or defended against) there is no need to prove them. They serve as a culture-wide indictment, the conclusion to an argument that has never been made, using terms that are never defined.
The Nazis declared “Jewish science” illegitimate and sent some of their greatest minds into exile, Einstein and Freud among them. Such is the result when political outcomes drive scientific inquiry. Today’s fascists use smear terms like systemic racism and white supremacy, not to encourage debate but to silence it. Science magazine now takes its place with the rest of media as a mere propaganda organ in the service of an ideology that honest scientific examination and a reliance on facts and data has already exposed as the greatest fraud perpetrated on civilization, one that corrupts and destroys everything it touches.
