So everyone wants to post about stupid DeVos is right now concerning her only . 02% of kids would die if we reopen schools and honestly have people lost their minds? I don’t know too much about her and frankly i might agree she wasn’t the best choice for Sec. of Education but like i feel like any rational person not blinded by rage and stupidity would kind of be on board with that number. I get it no deaths are good which is why i think her statement was stupid but like i said a rational human being would take this statement considering how deadly the virus is and go, “really, that’s it”. And on top of that this number presumes the virus follows the pattern it has with children so far and children contract it and die at the same rate as they have currently. Remember when we said by now we would have 2 mil dead? I did little research regarding suicide and if my math is correct, about 1% of suicides can be linked to in school bullying which is higher than the number that could die from Covid but sure we can't send kids back to school because of a virus that may kill them assuming the patterns continue but we can send then to school to get bullied and attempt suicide and that percantafe is a tad bit higher.

The number is closer to zero. Schools will be open or the public will go berserk. Women should not be in public office.
