Another Church Desecrated: St Agatha's in Sicily
A Catholic Church, Santa’Agata al Collegio in the Sicilian town of Caltanissetta was desecrated. The Most Holy Eucharist was thrown on the floor. Relics and images were desecrated. Dr Taylor Marshall reports.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Although I cannot agree the the Roman Catholic view of the sacraments or of Mary, I am definitely sympathetic to their plight here, and I hope that the proper authorities catch the perpetrators and stop any further vandalism.

I hope so too, but still nothing happened in the case of Notre-Dame de Paris fire. I don't think there is proper will, it has to be government supported in the cases of some of these large cathedrals. If they wanted to catch people they could., but it would be politically not correct to do that.
Sadly we have been seeing this across the Europe. Imported Islamists and various Marxist movements, all compete for ideological supremacy for what was for a long time been Christian domain. Its like when in Soviet Russia they dynamited the Greek Orthodox Churches when Bolsheviks took power. I mean even if someone does not agree with religion or is not even religions himself, the cultural and architectural importance of that heritage would give any sane man a pause. On the larger notion is symbolizes how weak Christians are. And that has all kinds of other cultural and political implications. Similar has been seen with some Churches in America and not Catholics, but because they were Christian. That's not a good sign. Just like destroying statues of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington or Jesus etc. It iconoclasm for the Marxists. Trying to impose new religion. That is the most troubling part of it. What it symbolizes.
