They want to change it to plain México. I suspect what they realy want to do is to rewrite the whole thing by pretending to just rename it, in order to take the states' ability to fuck out of the republic as they wanna go Communists and they ain't not taking no prisoners, or whatever....
It's as if all tissues were Kleenex or all bandages were Band-Aid's or all PWC were Seadoos. Overblown BS

@Serg97 No. I really don't even have the resources to try. getting a visa is just like 300 USD just to apply, its outlandishly out of my budget. But I really thought it might be my only choice if i were to try to speak up to my own country against my government. i would immediately get killed if i did while being here. even the major of my very city was yelling like crazy about how she wanted for the army to shoot drug dealers here. drug dealers are petty poor people who don't have any other opportunities here, they are not the cartels. those are in bed with the government. And i do believe that fair or not, its kinda more honorable of me to try to fix the situation i was born into instead of being selfish and fleeing. Still out of budget tho. im trying to tap into the global market via my videos now i guess (patreon.com/A1fredo btw) but I wanna earn it. im posting a third draft of my episode on the culture wars. maybe i can get support off of that. not really quite working tho. but sigh, what you gonna do, u know. im ranting, sorry
It is conventional, selecting a name, to use the surname instead of the given name. A derivative of "Vespucci" would have been more appropriate than "America".
