I really wonder as someone who believes “white guilt” is absolutely a thing and the narrative for so long surrounding minorities is that they all vote blue or their is something wrong with them how many white people voted Biden as sone sort of virtue signaling ally vote. and if they did how many will look at the numbers after this election and see that Trump actually gained support from these minority groups and be like, “shit we did this for you and you didn’t want this?”. The fact Trump lost support from white voters definitely helps makes me think this could actually be legitimate that people flipped to support their minority friends since for the last few months it’s been beaten into us (almost literally) to support blacks but when you look at how they voted vs how you were told they should vote, did we?

i for one will never accept guilt for my heritage it is not acceptable to me logically nor emotionally
however i cannot speak for those with weak character who feel guilt , Guilt is the narrative being taught to the younger generations good luck to them my children and their children
they need to learn to fight for their right or like history displays when the knife is at your neck they will learn to do so or accept their fate and die

I would say the amount of people voting for Biden specifically as part of some guilt / ally vote is practically zero. Your question has undertones of "race traitor" mentality with white people who don't support Trump.

no not really. hell im not saying whites can't vote for Biden, (the way many blacks are told they arent black if they don't vote Biden) but what i do know is one of the best selling books right now is “White Fragility” and there is very much a if you arent with us you are against us message towards whites from organizations like BLM.
@Joehlert11 well I would say that for-the-community thinking is more common among Progressives than Conservatives. For example, a wealthy Progressive could see how a Trump plan would make them even wealthier, while hurting the less-fortunate, and decide for the betterment of the country as a whole they should support Biden. A Conservative might be more selfish and decide to support Trump because they benefit and screw everybody else. That isn't guilt or fragility, it is altruism.
In an extreme example, if candidate A said all people should be free, and candidate B says any non-white person should be enslaved, is it purely virtue-signaling if a white person supports candidate A? Of course not. Also, don't forget that white people can still be part of minority groups which see Trump as a threat, such as religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.
@JacksonNought i get your point however my question comes with the fact that Democrats heavily push the monolith mentality among voters and there very much is a narrative of white guilt going on among progressive whites. i am not saying that this did occur only that given the state of things suggesting the possibility and that it will he interesting to see if there is a cultural shift after this. i mean i think the DOC (?) call that went out gives a bit of validity to this regarding House seats and house those races went and some criticizing support for BLM almost lost them the election
Trump has had non stop attacks from MSM and all the other attacks. After all of that it hardly changed the outcome its still more or less a tie. Main issue is with women, a health care narrative and COVID. If it was not for COVID Trump would have won.
