New to this thing, I'm hopeful it's not the same cesspool that Twitter is.
Is it kosher to use this place to just vent now and then?
I'm not from the states, but online, these woke sjw types tend to treat people as if everyone who disagrees with them is a white dude from the states and it's to say the least, draining and tiresome to be treated based on the social politics of another country.
Is it really that wrong to not have energy to care about pronouns or skincolor or culture and treat anyone you meet regardless of any of that and just treat them based on how they act instead?
Also, any tips for using this site?

Cursing is fine, some members curse others don't, most don't seem to mind. It's also fine to rant about certain groups etc like the cancel culture.

What boggles my mind is that the last line of your post is so...refreshing because normally there's such stigma online for not agreeing with this stuff. This is like a refreshing breeze of fresh air.

Thank you. I didn't think it was a "thing". Luckily I got decently thick skin, so I assumed it was a joke or such.
It's pretty nice to have an alternative to the current stuff. Even imgur will ban you over a meme that puts stuff like BLM in negative light.

@Rick-A Gotcha, good to know. It's become such a tedious habit to have to mind what you say online lest you get a virtual mob after you. Even over just the simplest things like calling out the bullshit that happened with say, Sailor Moon drawing challenge some time back.

Thank you. Any groups you would recommend that wish you knew about when you first got here?
I assume it's best to not use foul language, and respect the other users, but is it a big no no to rant/vent against certain toxic groups like the cancel culture crowd?

I could probably make some assumptions about you and suggest a few groups to join based on your post, but I think it's best if you look around and see what you like. My advice is to keep an eye out for the users you enjoy engaging with or whose opinions you enjoy reading. Follow them and check out the groups they have joined.
