This is a show of force aimed at showing that there’s a new kind of government that will use all tools at their disposal to quickly squash any type of resistance to what is about to happen. (This military tactic is frequently used by the American military to preclude the need for actual use of force.)

There is credible intel that there is enough outrage (at the fraud that left us with a puppet government) that a large number of armed citizens plan to stop the peaceful transfer from happening. (I have no evidence of this intel, but it is a likely concern based upon the high percentage of people who are convinced of the fraud and the potential damage to the nation they love).

There is credible intel that ANTIFA and/or BLM (possibly funded by Soros, Communist countries or a cabal of technocrats) is planning an armed demonstration/attack while posing as Trump supporters in order to drive a hardline leftist agenda backed by force they determine to be justified.

There is a high level of fear and they just want to be prepared, just in case.
