The proof that the vaccine is going to cause some medical issues is not disputed. The long term effect is not established and severe injury is certainly a possibility. Childrens injuries are probably going to follow data extrapolated from a process called immunobridging. In the absence of efficacy data, immunobridging is an approach to infer the likelihood of a vaccine protective effect, by translating vaccine immunogenicity in humans to a protective effect, using the relationship between vaccine immunogenicity and the desired outcome in a suitable animal model.
