The prophetic movie, Forest Gump, said it best: "Stupid is as stupid does." Little did we know that this aphorism was how the movie's main character was warning us of what our culture would become in a few years. In addition to the examples above, we allow men who pretend that they are girls to compete in women's sports; we accept as normal selecting incomprehensible gender IDs for birth certificates and licenses; we keep electing prosecutors (e.g. New York) who refuse to prosecute crime as crime statistics explode; we discourage energy production and then wonder why energy prices go up--the list could go on. Stupid is as stupid does.

I kind of feel sorry for them. PhD degrees don't guarantee the ability to think critically and analyze deeply. I hope their long term health is OK
