What? Should Ukraine just give up and let Putin take over? Whatever- end the carnage? Putin is not a Stalin or a Mao. He is just a tyrannical dictator and let's say, a nationalist, with the idea of making Russia great again. Unlike Trump, who thought he could reason with the Democrats and his political opponents, you know, be the great dealmaker. Putin knows his opposition can't be reasoned with and he ignores any Constitutional restraints, if there are any, to deal decisively with his political opponents.
We, in the west, consider the use of force barbaric which makes Putin evil but we'll accept subterfuge to kill half the population of the planet. If Putin is done away with though we may have saved someone from evil.
