BREAKING: Judge strikes down New York's 'toddler mask mandate'

The court found New York City's toddler mask mandate to be "arbitrary, capricious, and unreasonable."
In a victory for parental choice, a Staten Island judge struck down New York City's mask mandate for toddlers on Friday, calling the COVID- restriction "arbitrary, capricious, and unreasonable" and issuing a permanent injunction against it.
The single-page ruling from Judge Ralph Porzio pushes back against the mayor's plans. The mandate for children under -years-old was expected to expire Monday, but Mayor Adams was set to address its status Friday afternoon.

Yeah. Although I very much doubt elected is the correct description, more like he was installed like they do in California and few other states. There are no elections that are transparent and open. The elections are indeed "fortified".
I am glad that a judge has told the NY's mayor to keep his "plant-based life" hands from covering children at school. He can't seem to manage senseless and violent crime in New York. He can't protect the city's businesses or the elderly or Asian women, but he does seem to think that he is able to cover children's mouths with unneeded masks and to tell the city's citizens what they should eat. As long as the city's population keeps electing idiots as its political leaders, incompetent governance is what they will get. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. In this case, however, many New Yorkers are paying with their lives.

Yes. Although can't vs won't is where I would probably make a distinction. I doubt that Eric Adams can't do these things with the budget in NYC. I am pretty sure he choose not only not to do all the sensible things, but has an agenda to do the opposite. Just like his white brother in crime Eric Garcetti in L.A. or black sister in crime Lori Lightfoot or white sister in crime over at Chicago. They are incompetence I would agree, but if it was only incompetence it would be random failure sand success. What these people are doing is always the exact opposite of what should be done, and exactly aligned with larger agenda. In other words, US and many parts of the world have been conquered from within. Its not just plain old systemic corruption that does permeate USA on every level its also systematic replacement of anyone who does not follow the prescribed agenda. Covid policies were example of lockstep policies.
That being said, there are still pockets of sanity in Florida and few states, but even in Florida we have seen undermining of the DeSantis by the local school boards, hospitals etc.
Also, compared to EU and Canada and Australia etc, at least in USA there are still regional judges like this one who remember the sane rule of law, so that is certainly slowing down the agenda.
