The Culture I grew up in was one that stated human life is something special. All humans need an equal chance but the world owes you only that "an equal chance"
Unfortunately history has had many instances where a few have given themselves permission to choose who may live and to murdered the unworthy. I find it disconcerting to see this trend once again coming into favor. This belief in ones own god like power over life and death always ends in proving that any man is capable of monstrous act of evil.

How many men women and children did the god of Israel kill according to the O/T? In The tale of Noah alone all the inhabitants, including all other lifeforms that lived on the Earth. Probably 2-4 million as a wild guess!

When you share no faith with your neighbors you lose any and all connection to them. In cities where there are millions of people in close proximity to one another, most cannot name nor do the converse with their neighbors on either side. If people so easily dehumanize their neighbors it is no great leap to decide which may live and which must die.

Yes. I pray for those who violate the 1st Commandment, which is also the first of the two Great Commissions: Love only your God and do not hold any other idols. One of the greatest of that sin is believing ourselves to be gods.

There will still be time for these to repent. But if they fail, they will find life on Earth short and disappointing, and eternity long and lonely, far from the face of God.

I am a fallible man. And yet I do everything in my power to honor Jesus taking my place on that cross. I still do it poorly, but God knows my sincerity, and my life on Earth since this understanding is rich in friendship and service to others. I look forward to knowing God in eternity.

Although I imagine God loves all His children and hopes they choose Him, I also know He honors our free will, so I find it difficult to imagine all leaving this Earth and finding Him. If true, I shall mourn for them when they realize the terrible truth.
