I just read about some dumbass threatening the FBI. Just a stupid asshole. Can you even imagine?That's not me.
I follow the law because to have a civil society that's what you do, even if that "society" is only a few thousand or a few hundred. I can't help it if the current federal law enforcement crop is capricious.
I can vote. I can deal w/ anyone respectfully. That's who I am.
But, knowing that these guys can literally go after anyone, that they can point and say, "him..." well, there's just no point in worrying about it.
My future wife and I got off our plane at Orly in the mid 90's. (I'm really gonna have to cut this story down---maybe in the future)
Anyway, one of the first things we heard over the speakers, in about 5 different languages, was that any unattended bag would be "blown up." The first person we saw was a kid holding an automatic weapon on a sling. Gay Puh REEEE!

Soooo, while we were there, some bombs went off. My gal and I decided, since you never knew where the next bomb was going to blow, what was the point? Hell, they might blow up our hotel.
Get it? There was no point in looking for a safe place. We had a great trip in a great place.
