Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.As the post suggests, "Owning the Science" is a political statement, not a scientific one. No one owns "the science."
The Scientific Method exists because scientists are human, therefore biased. So a method had to be invented to attempt to cancel human bias. It is not absolute, and requires objective peer review and consensus. Without concensus of peer review, there is no "science," regardless of what any politician says - particularly a UN politician.
The UN has made statements through many of their functionaries that their objective is the destruction of Capitalism. So much for objective science.
The claim that "there is noting you can do about it" is a military type of statement, usually given after a takeover by force. And the UN has a military force. Maybe its time they didn't.
Demand of your reps that the UN be decommissioned immediately.
