The 16th amendment authorizing a federal income tax was not ratified until 1913. Lincoln had nothing to do with it.

I am trying to imagine to what constitution you are referring. Here is Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution:

Communism is defined as the ownership and authority over all means of production by the government.

Lincoln founded the Republican Party in 1854 as the first party in the history of the US established for the explicit purpose of supporting and defending the Constitution, the only document in the World that protects the rights of its citizens by asserting that their rights are inherent and not granted by the government. The US Constitution is the only document in history that limits government. That is the opposite of Communism which defines government as in control over everything.

Marxism (Communism) and the Democrats both have in common that they object to the Constitution, which limits the power of government, and very often Marxists use that commonality to harness gullible Democrats into the service of Marxism.
