I stated in my OP I am not a denier of God. I am a denier of the texts man uses in the name of gods. My only strong belief on the subject of religion is I must remain open to fully understand it. I often wonder if God is in the infinity of mathematics.
I also find most believers from religions everywhere strive to be good people. I have no desire to change who they are. I desire to open conversation so all faiths can overcome prejudice by overcoming ignorance. I'm not calling religion ignorance. I'm stating ignorance of the others breeds prejudice in each.

@iThink Because of the logical truth of it, I would assume. But IMO, that could perhaps be but one aspect of God. Who knows. Any speculation about the supreme being, absent verifiable evidence, is pure conjecture.

@jwhitten everything about God is pure conjecture and attempts to prove or disprove the existence of God is silly and arrogant. God will not be discovered in any mathematical equations, nor in any subatomic particles, nor in the stars, the galaxies, the nebulae. Human beings can no better define or prove anything about God than they can comprehend infinity. It simply is beyond human capacity to Know. There is a reason for the phrase "leap of faith". Human beings do have free will and we can choose to believe in the existence of God or not. To me the only "evidence" I require to believe that God is - is my own existence and the reality of everything I can see and hear and touch and learn...mathematically speaking there is one thing I know for certain; that is that Nothing comes from nothing. 0 + 0 is zero. Something created and animated the Universe and every thing in it. Including the laws of physics. I choose to call that Source of the Universe - God - and if He exists and if He is anything at all like I imagine Him to be then I hope and pray for his Mercy. I know I need it and He knows I need it. Probably my favorite quote from the bible is "...Faith is the belief in things unseen and the hope for things to come." I can not imagine a more bleak and sad existence than to believe that there is nothing greater than my ability to see, touch, feel, hear or to know objectively. Without belief in that then what would be the point of living in the first place.

Never liked that argument. I don't find it very compelling. And, I don't see how it could possibly bring someone to God. It's basically saying since you have nothing, try this thing that I tried. While it may be nothing too, maybe it's something. At least we'll be together if we screw it up.

This is just MY opinion, but tell OP what God has done in your life and then shut up. Let God do the rest. You have no stake in the outcome. You've done what God asked of you, and you've modeled God's love. AND, I've never seen that approach piss anyone off.

That reads like a 'do this'. It's more a proposal than a declaration. I could rewrite it. But, lazy.

@chuckpo First, i wasn't trying to convert anyone. In my experience that is always a personal thing. I have personally survived several things most people have not. I have also personally witnessed other people survive situation that NO one should survive. I have nothing to prove. I know the answer.
