AOC is the new Sharpton
For years, Al Sharpton was the crank the left trotted out to give voice to all the lunatic positions “reasonable” leftists didn’t dare suggest, most prominent among them reparations for slavery. But every racist conspiracy imaginable first saw the light of day with Sharpton and the other fringe kooks gathered around him.
Well, now many of those fringe issues are called the DNC platform. Never doubt that the left plays a long game. Which brings us to the current crazy, AOC, and her willingness to say virtually anything if she thinks there’s a political point to be scored. She’s the new tip of the spear, rushing into the void with every lunatic proclamation imaginable (and some that can’t be imagined), and the leaders of the party are perfectly willing for her to take all the fire, as long as the ideas are put out there into the kulturescape, so, as Kamala Harris is fond of saying, we can begin to have a conversation about them.
AOC’s an out-of-control bimbo, maybe, but she’s tolerated for a reason. Don’t under estimate her effect.

I did catch that upon her election to Congress. No previous legal or government experience and as a wild card placed in federal Congress to be a pawn stirring the pot for attention and distraction, to be sacrificed for failure but enough disturbance and chaos for the motivation of the Democrat Party plan.
