would it soothe your fears a bit to know that the person who created and uploaded this vid to you tube is a Black man? Go watch the vid. Snopes has been exposed as being - ahem - less than forthright with their findings - somehow the word "fake" comes to mind.
Read any story about Huffman on the lefty sites and Tanya McDowell is mentioned in those articles, of course, incorrectly stating why she was sentenced to 5 years. She was facing 40 for selling crack at her son's school and pimping prostitutes. Poor woman!
I'd trust my nosy neighbor rather than Snopes, she has better intel than that site.

"This case is about the convictions for the sale of narcotics to an undercover police officer," the judge said. "I think you understand that because that is really the essence of what has gotten you into the predicament you find yourself today."
On the two counts of sale of narcotics, the judge then sentenced her to 12 years, suspended after she serves five years and followed by five years of probation. "
@Halligan It supports the fact that the left is not pushing this story in any meaningful way. If anything, the right is pushing it. I wasn't commenting on the substance of the story.
@WilyRickWiles I don't see either side "pushing" it. I looked at the top few liberal sites: Slate, Huffpo, Salon, etc - all mentioned the incorrect version of Tanya McDowell in their articles on Huffman. Stirring up the 'white privilege' and rich v poor, blah, blah.
I then looked at the top conservative sites: Washington Free Beacon, The American Thinker, National Review - all articles are from March. Red State had 1 article about how Snopes is full of shit, essentially, on its 'fact' checking regarding McDowell and Fox News talked about how social media is outraged over the lies of this meme. The 3rd top result you mentioned was Cernovich who talked about how the meme is fake news.
So story substance aside, I call pocky on your right wing pushing theory.
